My couples love a luxe experience but aren’t afraid to let loose. They want a reception that feels stylish, modern and effortlessly fun. I’ll deliver a DJ set that has people talking about your wedding for years.
my story
I started this journey in 2021 after time at home raising my three beautiful kids. At first, I launched as The Soulful Celebrant — drawn to the idea of connecting with people and celebrating love in ways that felt authentic, modern and fun. But it didn’t take me long to realise: the vibe we created during the ceremony should carry right into the reception. That’s when I picked up the mic as an MC and added DJ decks into the mix. Each role complementing the other to create one seamless wedding experience.
Now, as Silver Mic Co, I’ve built a reputation for ceremonies that make people laugh and cry (often in the same breath), reception run sheets that flow effortlessly and DJ sets that keep the dance floor packed across all genres and generations. From Elvis to Beyoncé to the guilty-pleasure throwbacks your uni mates will lose their minds over.
Who I Am
I’m a hugger, a lover, a bit spiritual (hard not to be in this line of work). I’m also a beach-and-bush-loving mum of three, a well-travelled soul who’s happily settled in Newcastle and someone who finds pure joy in connecting with people from all walks of life. I grew up in the Blue Mountains where creativity and curiosity were celebrated. Those early years taught me the value of storytelling, family and belonging.
My professional background in interior design and client management sharpened my ability to listen deeply and bring someone’s vision to life. Now I use those same skills to intuitively craft love stories into ceremonies, transitions into smooth MC moments, and playlists into dance floor magic.

As my dad used to say, “Keep your eyes and ears open, and your mouth shut — you might just learn something.” Those words stuck with me. Through travel and connection, I’ve immersed myself in different cultures, beliefs and perspectives. I believe our differences make life richer and I embrace and celebrate them in every ceremony.

Growing up in the Blue Mountains, being a little eccentric wasn’t just accepted — it was celebrated. That upbringing shaped me into someone approachable, nurturing and full of zest for life. My ceremonies reflect that free-spirited energy, reminding us all that love should feel joyful and unrestrained.

Life is about growth, change and learning. Every new experience gives us the chance to raise our awareness and become more conscious. I bring that same mindset to my work, always evolving, staying current, and ensuring my couples get a celebrant who’s relatable, real and open to new ideas.
Playful & Fun
Blame it on my older brother, the biggest stirrer you’ll ever meet but I can’t help bringing humour and playfulness into everything I do. Laughter breaks tension and creates connection and I love showing my couples that their ceremony doesn’t have to follow tradition. Some of the best magic happens outside the box and I’ll be right there encouraging you to lean into it.
